Hey There!

Dawn Donalson is a Certified Foot Zoner, Certified GAPS Coach, traditional foods educator, farmer, and longtime leader within the Weston A. Price Foundation community, serving as a chapter leader since 2006. Originally from the South, Dawn now homesteads with her husband on Colorado’s Western Slope, where they raise their family, animals, and nutrient-dense foods with a focus on simple, sustainable living.

After overcoming severe asthma, allergies, eczema, and learning challenges through nutrition and lifestyle changes, Dawn became passionate about helping other families reclaim their health through ancestral wisdom and practical everyday habits. Her personal journey shaped her mission to support modern families with realistic, nourishing solutions rooted in traditional foodways.

Through the farm, classes, and coaching practice, Dawn teaches “Healthy Traditions for Healthy Families,” helping clients incorporate nutrient-dense meals, fermentation, sourdough baking, sustainable living, and wellness practices into busy home life. She specializes in guiding families through the GAPS protocol, supporting picky eaters, digestive healing, and foundational wellness while keeping meals approachable, flavorful, and budget conscious.

Whether hosting farm experiences, teaching hands-on classes, or working one-on-one with clients, Dawn’s heart is to reconnect families with real food, practical skills, and a slower, more intentional way of living.
